If you are a Pushpay/CCB or Planning Center (PCO) partner, you have most likely set up an event page in your ChMS. Display.Church (D.C) content and design features allow you to display lots of event information in your D.C view. And yet, you might still want your people to be able to easily get to your ChMS event page.
That’s the feedback we got from Tim Peterson. Tim wanted to be able to link directly to the external registration page. Others agreed (2 upvotes).
We are happy to let you know that we have fulfilled this ‘wishlist’ feature request with another call to action: Open event page.
For Pushpay/CCB, this opens to the relevant ccbchurch.com page. For Planning Center (PCO), this opens to the relevant churchcenter.com page.
BTW…WHEN USING THE ‘OPEN EVENT PAGE’ CTA OPTION
If the viewer clicks on the Learn more button, they will be taken to the relevant page (URL) in Pushpay/CCB or PCO. If the viewer clicks anywhere else on the card, the events details pop-up will be triggered and will display.
If you do not want this confusion, simply toggle off ‘Open event details as a pop-up. [Events section –> Event details subsection]
The viewer will still need to click on the Learn more button to get to the relevant page. However, if they do not, nothing happens. So they will be more inclined to click on the button.
