Display Church vs Pushpay/CCB

ScreenHunter 4675

In the age of digitalization, having an easy-to-use, customized, and professional embedded church calendar is crucial to engaging your congregation, organizing events, and facilitating management.

Two widely used options available for churches are Pushpay/CCB and Display.Church. While many things are similar, there are some important differences.

Before we begin: ‘Thank you!’ Pushpay/CCB for giving us the opportunity to integrate with you. It’s because of your provision of a calendar option that we’re able to collect all the necessary details to display our partners' church events.

Thank you, Pushpay/CCB, for being such an amazing partner!

Group Widgets

CCB offers 1 very good group widget view with the ability to display lots of important information.  During creation of this view, limited filtering is available.

Display.Church offers 4, fully customizable group views:

  • Filtering - Public/Private: Choose to display one or both types of groups in the same view.
  • Design & branding: Choose which information to display/hide. Select font, font sizes, and colors which match your church branding.

Event Alerts

Event ALERTS is an automated, 'set it and forget it' statement which gives information about an upcoming (or happening now) event. This innovative tool drives conversion and saves you time. You can customize when and where to the event highlight display based on different settings, and you won't have to manually update – the highlight will disappear once the event is over!

Customizing Colors and Fonts

Group 6198

Pushpay/CCB doesn't offer font or color customization.

Display.Church allows complete color and font customization to suit your church's branding. You can play around with over 100 customizable options.

Removing the Calendar

To remove a Pushpay/CCB embedded calendar from your website, you need to go to your website and remove it from the website code.

Removing the Display.Church calendar is much easier and more convenient. You just unpublish it without modifying the website. Your calendar waits for you in case you wish to use it again. For example, for special events calendars such as Christmas, Easter, VBS, etc.

Testimonial

image

[Before using Display.Church,] events were in our church app via an RSS feed embedded in the app (no color customization, no registration links, no graphics for events). We also had CCB’s integrated public calendar with no customization of views and not mobile friendly. [Our goals in using Display.Church were to] improve the visual appeal of the calendar and add registration function to app. We also wanted to automatically pull in upcoming events specific to certain groups in CCB and not have to manually update the website for every new event; also have a visually appealing calendar option on the website. We have been able to customize calendars specific to certain pages of our website and everything is mobile friendly!
