Coast Hills Church is an outstanding example of several Display.Church products: Featured events, Calendars, and Groups. The biggest thing we want to show you is how this church uses the Display.Church filtering options to create specific calendars for specific needs. Then, we will move on to exploring how they continue to use Display.Church products to clearly (and beautifully) let people know what’s happening at their church.
Specific Calendars for Specific Needs
To help your people get to the events and groups which best serve their needs, Display.Church offers extensive filtering options. These options match the integration you are using [Breeze, Google Calendar, Planning Center (PCO) or Pushpay/CCB].
Coast Hills Church uses these filtering options to create specific calendars and groups views for specific needs. In other words, viewers see just the relevant events or groups. No need to sift through them all. Here are a few examples:

Information Right on the Home Page
If we have said it once, we have said it many times: Putting event and groups info right on your home page means people are less likely to miss this vital information.
EVENTS
Scrolling down the Coast Hills Home Page, we find events information. Notice that it is not ALL the events, just a selection of their featured items. They have used the Display.Church Cards (Grid) option. Underneath this selection is a button to their full calendar on their Events Page.

GROUPS
Just under the events is the LIFE Groups section. Clicking on the JOIN A GROUP button will take you to their church’s small groups on their Groups page.

Events Page in Depth
The Coast Hills Church Events Page opens with a link to all their event registration forms. If you click this link, you will be taken to their Pushpay/CCB church site. This is an example of how Display.Church (D.C) “plays nicely” with your other integration(s). In other words, D.C widgets and other widgets can co-exist without issues on the same webpage.
Mix and match
Next is a recap of the Featured Events shown on the home page. Just below that is their full church calendar using the D.C monthly template. Clicking on a day shows a list of the events for that day. Clicking on an event within that list opens an accordion of further details.
Groups Page in Depth
Looking for a small group at Coast Hills Church? Their selection is on their Groups page.
Groups are displayed in the Cards (Grid) format. Notice the badges above the name of each group. Badges give important info at a glance. For example: “Co-ed” and “Invitation or Request Required.” If you click on a group, you get a pop-up of further details.
The information and details on the main view and pop-up are completely customizable.
